4th edition of Digboi Town Fest
Nava Asom Nirman Foundation is dedicated to make Assam a thriving, happy & developed state by involving the youth of the state in activities where their talent & potential can be identified, nurtured & guided to attain excellence in bigger platforms.
FOOTBALL COACHING CAMP
A football coaching camp for underpriviledged children was organized at Digboi in February & March 2017 with qualified coach which has resulted in attracting more children towards sports.
FLOOD RELIEF CAMP 2017
Nava Asom Nirman Foundation has conducted Flood relief programmes in two phases- on 26th July 2017 and on 13th & 14th August 2017 in Tinsukia, Dibrugarh, Dhemaji and Lakhimpur districts.
MASK DISTRIBUTION & AWARENESS
Nava Asom Nirman in collaboration with e-shakti( NOIDA) distributed more than 3000 masks at several rural and urban areas of Digboi and Tinsukia and have undertaken awareness programs on the use of masks among rural population.
DEHING PATKAI CHALLENGE QUIZ COMPETITION
An all Assam prize money quiz competition namely Dehing Patkai Quiz Competition was held at Golden Jubilee Complex, Digboi on January 2019 among participants of various schools,colleges and universities of Assam participated.
MENTORSHIP AND SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
A mentorship cum scholarship program was intitiated to engage mentees to seek guidance from professional mentors belonging to different fields
FLOOD RELIEF CAMPAIGN 2020
With the help of Xondhan (a voluntray organisation among students of prestigious Cotton University, Guwahati) and students of Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Tuljapur flood relief campaigns were held at Tinsukia, Dibrugarh, Kamrup & Morigaon district. Also, Indian Oil Officers Association, Digboi joined hands in this campaign.
FLOOD RELIEF CAMPAIGN 2019
In an flood affected village of Kolakhua village of Dibrugarh district, Nava Asom Nirman Foundation along with local voluntary organisation Kalyan distributed relief items : food items, medicines, water and other necessities to the flood affected victims.
ONLINE COMPETITIONS AND EVENTS – DIGI FEST
Nava Asom Nirman Foundation organised several online competitions like Quiz, Debates and many webinars with the aim to engage youths in different activities and keeping them in a good state of mind.
SOCIO-CULTURAL YOUTH FESTIVAL – PADADHWANI
Padadhwani, a social-cultural youth festival was organized on 5th , 6th and 7th January 2018 at India Club, Digboi in association with “Kalyan-a youth group” among students/youth of various schools, colleges and universities of the state. Various competitions including quiz, debate, art, sports, culture were highlights of the festival.
NAVA ASOM NIRMAN TROPHY FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT
Nava Asom Nirman Foundation has identified sports as a key area for involving local youth and for creating a healthy, sporting environment in Assam. Nava Asom Nirman Trophy Football tournament was a prize money event where teams from Tinsukia and Dibrugarh district took part.
TREE PLANTATION AND CLEANILESS PROGRAM
In lines of our working segment on environment we undertook tree plantation programs in Golaghat, Lakhimpur and Tinsukia districts along with cleaniless drive with the aim to make the eart greener and cleaner.
MASK AWARENESS CAMPAIGN THROUGH MIME IN GUWAHATI
Nava Asom Nirman Foundation in association with National Health Mission launced mask awareness campaign through mime (form of art) in various places of Guwahati.
